Samura Whetstone #8000
The Samura 8,000 grit whetstone is intended for fine finish sharpening and grinding of a blade at home or in the workshop.
The single-layer grindstone has its abrasive grains linked by a special compound, which wears away over time merely to expose more and more new grains. As a result, the whetstone remains serviceable throughout its life, and it's able to maintain blade quality.
This is a "wet" whetstone. It should be immersed in water for 15 minutes before use and kept moist throughout the sharpening process.
Supplied with a non-skid rubber pad for ease of use.
