The Opinel Intempora Five-Piece Knife Block set is an impressive knife set for the discering chef. The 12C27M Sadnvick steel blades are offset by black, full-tang glass-reinforced polymer handles which feel supremely smooth in the hand. The 15.5% Chromium of the steel gives inherent resistance to corrosion, and the 0.52% arbon content ensures a perfect cutting edge can be maintained. With a 15° sharpening angle each sidfe, these knives will whizz through the daily kitchen prepr.

The set includes these five Opinel "Intempora" knives;

  • Paring Knife 8cm
    Short and delicate for precision cutting, peeling or dicing.
  • Chef's Knife 20cm
    Rigid and stable for chopping herbs, onions or fruti and veg. It can cut with a rocking motion, but still have enough of a flat edge to push your ingredients off the chopping board.
  • Santoku 17cm
    The dimpled blade of tyhis increasingly popular style means that your slices shouldn't stick to the blade. Ideal for chopping and finely slicing.
  • Carving Knife 16cm
    A long, straight blade for cutting your Sunday roast.
  • Bread Knife 21cm
    Serrated and curved for the toughest of crusts, also suprisingly versatile for pineapple and watermelon.
